PERMANENT AND NON-PERMANENT HAIR EXTENSIONS

First things first. There are so many different types of hair extensions to choose from. The right ones will depend on your hair type, final look you want to achieve, and your preference. The most obvious difference is that some hair extensions are permanent and have to be installed by a hair stylist, while others are non-permanent and can be styled and fitted by yourself whenever the mood hits.

TYPES OF HAIR EXTENSIONS

Clip-in Hair Extensions:

clipins

Sometimes life calls for “occasion hair”. Who knew hair could be the ULTIMATE accessory? Clip-in hair extensions are a quick and easy way to add length, volume, and elegance to your hair and are non-permanent hair extensions. The clips allow for easy placement and seamless style that's lightweight and fun to wear. Our clip-ins are hand-crafted from 100% Virgin Human hair and will outperform other clips up for the challenge.

Clip-in extensions are definitely one of the more well-known hair extension types. These come in strands of different lengths with clips that are sewn to the strand.

These are a super popular option as you can quite easily apply the extensions yourself. You can have a hairdresser put them in your hair to blend them, and even show you how to apply them properly.

Clip-ins are fairly low maintenance and only need to be washed every 15-20 wears or if there is a fair amount of product on them. Essentially, they're the same as your own hair and you can even style them, dye them and cut them to your own preference.

These tend to last around six months to a year depending on the care, what products you use and how frequently you wear them.

Tape-in Extensions

Tape-in hair extensions are pre-taped and then taped together on either side of your own hair. These need to be applied by a professional as they need to be placed close to the root of your hair for the most seamless look.

The benefits of tape-in extension are that once they're in, they're in. There's no fuss of taking them out or putting them back in and you can go about your day with long luscious locks.

Typically, they last four to eight weeks before you need to remove and re-apply them as your hair grows out.

You will need a hairdresser to remove the extensions (with glue remover) and then re-apply them higher up as long as they're in good condition. If they haven't been maintained well, you might need to purchase another set of extensions.

Tape-in hair extensions are the most popular hair extension technique for a seamless, long-lasting, and manageable solution. They are non-damaging, lightweight, and last 4-6 weeks. Reuse tape-ins them multiple times with hair replacement tape.

Good quality tape hair like ours can be removed and reapplied multiple times with hair replacement tape. All of our tape-ins use high-quality keratin for a reliable bond, some products are available in multiple textures and colors. Go ahead and find your match!

I Tips

I-Tip extensions are installed strand-by-strand using hot or cold fusion techniques. Application usually takes 1 to 3 hours. The installation will last anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.  Cuticle tips can be removed and reinstalled multiple times to accommodate the natural hair growth.

The microbead method uses a looping tool to thread the client's natural hair through the bead, and hair extension pliers to clamp the bead to the client's hair. Microbeads are lined with silicone to prevent damage and slippage.

Virgin Weft

Virgin weft hair extensions are the true standard for sew-in weaves. Virgin wefts are made with pure virgin hair, giving you the most natural and versatile hair ever.

Cut and place them in problem areas to create density and fullness, they're reusable and fun to use. Weft hair extensions are perfect for those who have high demands on quality and duration. Our hair extensions consist of 100% genuine hair and hairs of the highest quality.

When it comes to other forms of hair extensions cheap fixings can mean they frequently fall out before they should, but with a weft the result is firm, long lasting and barely distinguishable from your natural hair.

 Closures Vs. Frontals

Closures and frontals have become a necessity in the world of weave. Although they may come in a variety of sizes and textures they fundamentally serve a common purpose. This purpose is to seamlessly complete a weave install and/or unit. Nevertheless, frontals and closures have a distinctive difference between them and it is important that these differences are understood to assure your desired look can be achieved.

Frontals

This invisible hairpiece is secret of Hollywood Elite. Frontals that feature premium quality Virgin Human Hair are a perfect upgrade from classic hair weaves and can be sewn in or applied with tape or glue. These pieces complete the look of your weave, are virtually undetectable to the naked eye and eliminate the need to blend any hair that is left out of your installation.

Closures

Closures can be used to complete your look with sew-in hair weaves or solve a hair-loss problem. Sometimes our fragile natural hair needs a break. Whether you are giving your hair a break from chemical services, environmental damage or even from medically related hair loss…you’ll love our wide range of closures.

Matching Your Hair

When you are seeking a hair extension, you want to find something that matches your natural hair color as closely as possible. Whilst tinting and coloring your hair is possible, it is best to select a color to start with that matches your hair well. You will have a much easier time blending it in so that it doesn’t get noticed. Matching will also allow you to style your hair in different ways without it being obvious to others that you are wearing extensions.
